Welcome to The Garth Dawson Studio

The Garth Dawson Studio is located in the centre of Accrington, close to a number of town centre car parks. The staff here are all highly trained and friendly, making you feel at ease as soon as you enter the studio.

Coming from an art college background, Reg Whittam went on to study photography under professor John Hannavy, the past president of the B.I.P.P., where he gained a solid technical background in his profession.

Reg qualified as a professional photographer 22 years ago and for the past 20 years has been with The Garth Dawson Studio, buying the business outright in 1992 from Mr Garth Dawson, the companys founder.

Recent investment in the latest digital and computer systems, along with intensive training, means that Reg and his staff can now offer a comprehensive range of digital services alongside the traditional, film based photography.
